Fall Migration Count Results

Paul Kohler has compiled results from the 5 October Fall Migration Count. He notes:

It was a blessed relief to bird in more fall-like conditions!  We ended the day with 95 species, which included 2 nighthawks at dusk over my house in North Augusta.  European Starling took top honors with 556 tallied—nearly all of those were seen by Lois at the Horse Creek water treatment facility.  Fifteen species had only one representative, so kudos to the sharp-eyed birders who found them.  I don’t think we found anything very unusual, but a good day in total.

Thanks to everyone who went out and compiled bird totals.
