Chapter Meeting Thursday, March 12

The Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society Chapter Meeting will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 7 pm.

The meeting location is the North Augusta Community Center, located at 495 Brookside Drive, in North Augusta, SC. The public is invited to all meetings, programs, and field trips sponsored by Augusta-Aiken Audubon.

Program: Ron Brennerman will present Bluebirds Over Georgia and South Carolina.” The presentation will explore the decline and resurgence of bluebirds in the U.S., bluebird natural history and how to attract bluebirds to your property.

Ron is a native of Pennsylvania. He received a B.S. in Biology in 1973 and a M.S. in Wildlife Ecology in 1975 from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a certified Wildlife Biologist and has authored or co-authored more than 60 technical publications and popular articles. In 1997 he and his wife Dori opened Birds & Butterflies of Aiken, a retail store specializing in unique nature and garden accents and gifts. Ron is co-founder of the South Carolina Bluebird Society (SCBS), an affiliate of the North American Bluebird Society and serves on its Board of Directors.
