The July meeting of the Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society will be July 8 at 7pm. We will be meeting in person at the North Augusta Community Center – 495 Brookside Ave, North Augusta. In addition, we will present by Zoom for those unable to attend in person.

The presentation will be by Callie Oldfield, Ph.D., the Research Director at the Phinizy Center for Water Sciences. She will cover the Center’s current freshwater research and plans for expanding ecological research in the park.

Callie grew up in rural Tennessee, spending her days catching crayfish and climbing pine trees.
