September Augusta-Aiken Audubon Meeting
I can finally confirm – the meeting will be in person and available through Zoom (assuming no technical difficulties that cannot be overcome).
As mentioned a few weeks ago in the teaser post, the presentation will be Winter Birding in Iceland by Doug and Alice Walker. (If you attend in person, the parka is optional. Those joining by Zoom, regulate your thermostat accordingly).

Doug and Alice will describe and show photographs of their two-week winter trip to Iceland in 2018. They will describe their experience with the winter birding, northern lights, and sightseeing in Iceland in March.
Doug and Alice, are members of the Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society, both are past Presidents of the chapter, and they currently serve as Program Chairman and Conservation Chairperson. Before retirement, Alice was a reference librarian at the Augusta Public Library and Doug was a chemist at the Savannah River National Laboratory. They have been birders since 1992.
