Education

Augusta-Aiken Audubon supports a number of different education efforts.

  • Sponsoring field trips for local schools to visit the Silver Bluff Audubon Center.
  • Reaching out to the community with exhibits at local events.
  • Participate in maintaining the pollinator garden at Silver Bluff Audubon Center.
  • Free birding field trips, open to the public.
  • Bimonthly meetings are held at the North Augusta Community Center and/or virtually on Google Meet. See the Augusta-Aiken Audubon Society Facebook posts for meeting details. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the odd months (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov) at 7 pm.
