Field Trips

Meet at Kathwood Ponds at Silver Bluff Audubon Sanctuary at 8 am to carpool to the road.  We will drive and walk along the road but will spend most of our time along the dirt portions.

This is a Phinizy Swamp NP hike.  There is a $10 for the hike.  Please register on the Phinizy Swamp website for this event.

We will meet at the Visitor Center at the Silver Bluff Audubon Sanctuary at 9 am to walk the 3 mile Quail Trail looking for winter arrivals.

Meet at Popeye's at Walton Way and Gordon Highway in Augusta to carpool at 9 am.  We will drive and walk looking for winter arrivals.

Meet at Kathwood Ponds at Silver Bluff Audubon Sanctuary at 9 am to carpool.  We will drive and walk the road looking for winter residents.

Meet at Popeyes on Gordon Highway and Walton Way in Augusta at 9 am to carpool.  There is a $4 charge per person to access the property.  We may go past noon depending on the birding.
